Noragric offers high quality education programmes for those interested in issues related to environmental governance and protected areas.

The study options at Noragric include a Bachelor programme, three Master’s programmes and a PhD programme. All programmes have an interdisciplinary approach and focus on the challenges linked to the concept of sustainable development as an interdisciplinary field of study.

The bachelor programme in International Environment and Development Studies is an interdisciplinary program where different theoretical approaches together give insights in different and often overlapping disciplines, both within social and natural sciences.

The master programme in International Development Studies looks at global and local problems related to poverty, environment and social conflicts.

The master programme in International Environmental Studies explores causes and effects of global environmental problems related foremost to climate change, loss of biodiversity, water and land degradation.

The master programme in International Relations deals with the political nature of why and how bilateral and multilateral institutions promote certain development policies spatially and temporally and offers a theoretical understanding of international interaction within fields such as environment, development and poverty.
